Fix it. This is unacceptable. If you want me to continue using your browser, this should never happen again. Period. I wish some of the stuff I used wasn’t so flaky in Opera, or I’d be using it as my main browser.

Fix it. This is unacceptable. If you want me to continue using your browser, this should never happen again. Period. I wish some of the stuff I used wasn’t so flaky in Opera, or I’d be using it as my main browser. The Case for FaithAfter being undecided for such a long time, Ruzena bought me a book for Christmas. Not too long ago, I approached her with some questions. Some concerns that lingered in my mind. The same concerns that drove my conversion to agnosticism and eventually atheism not all that many years ago. Even since I’ve accepted Christ and brought Him back into my life, there were still questions that remained unanswered. She found the perfect book for me. Lee Strobel’s The Case for Faith (at Amazon) is one of the two books in the compilation book she got me for Christmas. It arrived here yesterday (late gift, I know Christians and Atheists alike should have the opportunity to sit down and read this book. Really take in what it says and then think through your arguments for and against faith again. I know I will. And thank you again, sweetheart, for an excellent choice in gifts. It is practical and serves a good purpose. Copilot Free on WeekendsHave any friends or relatives that you help with computer issues all the time? Always think it would be easier if you were right there with them to see what was happening on their computer, but didn’t feel like bothering with a tool like VNC? Fog Creek Copilot is now free on the weekends. I’ve used Copilot in the past, and I think it’s a great tool to handle this kind of stuff. No VNC setup, you just get an invitation code and their software. Give your invitation code to the person you’re trying to help, they get the software and away you go. Try it. Go AwayThere’s someone, or someones rather, out there who’s been a little too interested in my personal life and business, lately. You know who you are. I’ve shown more professionalism in my pinky finger than you and everyone else you’re associated to, bar one person. Go away. Leave me be and stop harassing my friends. I don’t know who you think you’re fooling, but you’re all the farthest thing from professionals, much less good at what you do. Back Under the FoldAfter looking at how long the additional blogs remained untouched, I realized what a bad idea it was to try and separate them apart. Blogging is much easier for someone doing it casually when you’ve got one entry point to where all of your content is going to go. I’m going to resume my previous banter about things not related to personal life here. I may make some modifications to Wordpress so that “Privett on PHP” can be a separate page and the entries don’t show up on the front page automatically, but that won’t happen anytime soon. Maybe Ruzena will start blogging again and offset my need to talk about technical things. Blog UpgradedYou might’ve noticed a little change here … I just finished upgrading our blog to the latest version of Wordpress, so my old theme has disappeared. We’ll be using the default theme until Ruzena and I can find one we both agree on. Until then, the blog posts will continue to trickle in as we have something interesting to write about. Planet PHP Spam?Is anyone else annoyed with the “WSO2 WSF/PHP” spam that’s coming down Planet PHP, lately? It seems like all of those entries are just links to their Web Service Framework with just enough content to be annoying. |
