I had been digging around since McCain started making it an issue and couldn't find the specifics of Obama's requests until I found your link (I visited Obama's campaign website, but didn't think to go his Senate site - doh!). Like you, I'm not that disturbed by this list. There are a couple of items that I have questions about, but for the most part these are all worthy projects. We have to fund education and sensible research or this country won't progress. After the bridge collapse in Minnesota, I wish every Senator would take a look at the transportation infrastructure in their states. Many of these projects benefit the military, as well. Also kudos to Obama for improving transparency in government. Thanks for the links.
