Yes, I really think McCain is a good choice. Why? I live where his carreer has been centered and have seen first hand most of my life the differences between him and most politicians.

http://www.thedenverchannel.com/politics/15772329/detail.html

Give that a read - that's no BS. He is hated by the Republican ultra conservatives because of things like this specifically and regularly attacked by his own party members. When did that start? When he told his own party to pull their collective head out of the very dark place it was housed and backed Bill Clinton's policies on fiduciary accountability (spend no money without an accounted source for the fund).

He has stood up for programs like this throughout his carreer, and the dollar has never been stronger than it has been under those programs.

He also pisses off ultra conservatives with his defense of the rights of the people over bs like the patriot act. Granted, he backed that pile of crap - but he has been outspoken about it's rampant misapplication.

Meh,Clinton, McCain, Obama are all bad in my view. I view the U.S. Constitution the most impotent issue along with a small and limited government. Something we won't get from a Democrat or Neo-Republican like McCain. What drives me nuts about Republicans this election is that every one was talking about what Regan would of thought of them, but the one who Regan gave testimonial to when Regan was alive and follows Regan's Libertarian principles got only about 10% of the vote in most states. Granted I don't know much about Obama and I view him in a better light then Clinton, I would rather have Obama over Clinton but I'd rather take some one else. :/

This man has specifically said that he knows nothing about economics. With our economic downfall being one of the single biggest threats to the Nation in the upcoming years, do you really think McCain is a good choice for President?

He's not bush with a different name, he's an experienced politician who has played the game required to get in position as the party nominee. Check his record prior to about 2 years ago - he has a long record of serving AZ well and doing things that make sense. He was a major supporter of President Clinton's budget policies involving not spending unsourced funds. Why do you think so many Republicans (see Rush) fear him?
