I like Thunderbird. Its interface is not ideal. I like, however, the ability to toggle whether or not it displays the entire page or just the summary (when available). This gives me the flexibility to read whole things like A List Apart articles, but then only load the Dilbert comic itself and not the entire slow Flash-heavy Dilbert page. I mostly use it for convenience though, since I use Thunderbird for email, so it keeps everything in one place.

Thanks, Brendon. I've got the Zend Studio Toolbar and I'm not a big fan of keeping my feeds in the browser anymore, as simultaneous updates have a negative impact on the browsing experience. Thunderbird seems to be working out okay, so far. I'll take a look at Feed Demon when I get a chance to see if I like it any better.

Firefox extension - Sage. The information all lies within your Bookmarks manager; which unfortunately is also the only way you can create folders within the view. The shortcut to access its view is ALT+Z, but for some reason if you have the Zend Studio Toolbar installed, it conflicts with it somehow to where the shortcut no longer works.

For a desktop-only RSS client (for Windows), I do like Feed Demon which is now free.
