Working Hard …

by Jeremy on Sep.27, 2006, under Uncategorized

On a lighter note …

I generally like to keep my workspace pretty clean. Only having open the files I absolutely need, while I’m working on something. Today’s been stressful and hectic, and my workspace shows that brilliantly, now that I think about it …

Take a look …

That’s all the files I have open in my editor, right now. Some blurred due to NDAs and stuff, and I can’t let any of my readers know what I’m working on, exactly. ;)

Wow, I opened up my feed reader and wondered what had gone wrong, about 10 posts in 24 hours.

I think I can work out what happened. I can’t blame you for being pissed off. Hell I don’t know how you can refrain from firing him or getting some kind of revenge. After all you’ve done for him, it’s the ultimate stab in the back. It just really shows how ultimately selfish some people are. If I were John, it’s not someone I’d want working for me. A team is supposed to trust each other and be reliable. If he screwed you so easily after all you’ve done, what’s to stop him screwing John? But that’s just my opinion, and I don’t think John will fire him because it might just add fuel to the fire. Then again, it shows who you’re real friends are, and who you can trust. But I’m sure you’ve gone through this and been told his a million times. I just can’t believe that not only was he supposed to be your best mate but you were like brothers, and you’ve done a lot more, than most mates do, for him.

As for her, that entry she posted was quite clear. She’s trying to make herself out to be the victim as she knows what she did is disgraceful.

My “best friend” went out with my ex just a few weeks after we finished. I found the best way was to just completely ignore them. Rather than get wound up every time you see either of them or go after trouble. Just delete all contacts with her. She’ll continue to argue, but the best way to win an argument is not to argue back. That way you can’t loose and they get frustrated. What’s done is done, and it has shown them for their true colours. I guess by posting this comment I’m kind of being a hypocrite because you seem to have moved on, but I’m nosy and want to give my view :P

I find it so ironic that the one person you’ve been able to trust through this is someone you met through the internet. All these people who think having online friends is sad and all that have just been proved wrong. It also shows that, unlike what the media portrays, the internet is not full of pedophiles, rapists, and selfish people wanting to take advantage.

It seems like something off The OC :P Especially since their situation is pretty much the same, Ryan is living with Seth’s family and they’re best mates but almost opposites. Although as far as I’m aware Ryan doesn’t stab Seth in the back.

Anyway, my editor often gets like that. So many windows open and I get in such a complex train of thought I can’t go through them to close them. So every once and a while I close all of them and start again until it builds up and I’m back where I started.

That comment ended up a hell of a lot longer than I planned :P
